The crossbody bag is made from a repurposed cotton canvas from an old army tent . This has a zip opening to make a secure functional piece. The internal pocket is made from fabric from an emergency survival sleeping bag.
Details from the original tent are retained to show their heritage.
The straps are made from cotton woven strap.
Both zips were repurposed from waste sample zips.
Design includes an internal pocket.
This product is made by Alison and Gabriela in the Glass Shed Studio based in Devon.
We take fabric that would end up in landfill and repurpose this fabric into a beautiful product, a sustainable choice.
Fabric takes years, if not centuries to decompose.
